I still don't know why i am not a fan of Roger Federer. By far he is the best player of tennis i have ever seen. When i watch him play in any tournament, i feel that he is playing with some kids in the court. Winning 15 grand slams and over-taking Sampras in 6 years and that too when Sampras took 12 years to achieve his 14 wins says it all. I always wanted someone to beat him. Only recently Nadal was able to beat him and take the number one spot. I am a big Nadal fan, and even though Nadal has beaten Federer 13 out of 20 times, i know that Federer is far far better player than him.
He is indeed the greatest tennis player ever. His game is so smooth that it hides the burning fire inside him. Thats his specialty. The Wimbledon 2009 finals was a very tough battle against the power machine Roddick and it couldn't have been a better win for Federer to break all the records. Infact after seeing Roddick's form and game, I was ok even if he had won the match. But Federer proved himself again by beating him in wimbledon finals for the 3rd time!

2009: all 4 slam finals with 2 victories and 2 thrilling five-set defeats... just 2 sets away from a calender grand slam... 2 ATP 1000 titles, finished year-end ATP Tour Champion... wat else ??
2010 promises to be a great year for tennis, we have so many good players now... all credit to roger & rafa, others are able to step-up their game... Novak, Del-Po, Andys (Rod & Murray), Devydenko, Soderling, Verdesco, Tsonga etc..... we could have 4 different slam winners next year..
